Wonderful stay
Just spent a fantastic week at Golden Sands Beachfront Resort and can’t thank Carl and Mandy enough as they couldn’t have been more helpful. Great pool surrounded by lovely gardens and palm trees, just a short walk to the beach, a lovely restaurant onsite, shops and good bus service close by, really looking forward to our return.

Wonderful stay at Golden Sands
We have recently spent six weeks at Golden Sands Beachfront Resort, and we are already looking forward to our next stay. Mandy and Carl are simply great, so welcoming, the grounds are beautiful, and the pool is lovely. We stayed at Golden Sands many years ago and decided to stay there again this trip and we are so very glad we did. Thank you both so much.

Great place to stay for exploring Daintree and Great Barrier Reef
The apartment was spacious, clean, very well equipped, had a balcony with a nice view of the pool and greenery and free parking in the basement that was easily accessible with a lift. The location was great for exploring the area, a short drive from Cairns airport and Palm Cove and not so far from Port Douglas or the Daintree Rainforest.

Relaxing, rejuvenating and chilled
If you want a location to recharge this is the place. The location on the beach at Yorkeys Knob, a brilliant Cafe on the grounds, a heated pool set in tropical gardens all add to the appeal. Our accommodation was really comfortable with a great kitchen and very comfortable bed. Carl and Mandy go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We can't wait to come back next year.

Great location, accommodation and excellent hosts!
Golden Sands was a fantastic, quiet resort - close to the airport and very easy access to the local Yorkeys Knob beach and shops. The hosts, Mandy and Carl, made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. On-site restaurant had a most relaxing atmosphere. The pool was warm and always clean. Already re-booked for next year!

Excellent place to stay.
We couldn’t love Golden Sands Beachfront Resort enough, from the convenience of the beach, the sparkling pool, the clean rooms with everything you needed, the on-site restaurant and most of all the hosts! They were brilliant! Would definitely stay here again! Family friendly and just a relaxed atmosphere!
